Nighttime Skincare Routine
I haven’t updated my skincare routine since I first started this blog. Here’s a quick rundown of what I do for my skin before bed:
Makeup remover: Take the day off balm by Clinique. This is a great melt-off remover that takes off waterproof mascara and leaves my skin moisturized.
Cleanser: Purity by Philosophy. This is my favorite cleanser for my dry skin. I have tried a lot of other cleansers but this one always gets additional makeup or grime off completely. Works great with my Clarisonic.
Toner: Mamonde hydrating beauty water. I purchased this Mamonde skin kit and I’ve really been into anything with rose in it due to its brightening and antioxidant abilities.
Facial spray: Mario Badescu rose water with herbs and aloe. I like to use a facial spray directly after my toner. It helps revitalize the skin.
Serum: Perricone M.D. Vitamin C Ester Brightening Amine face lift serum.
Moisturizer: Mamonde flower moisture cream.
Eye Cream: Lancome Renergie Multi-Action Firming and Lifting eye cream. I was given this as a sample from the Lancome counter. I think it moisturizes well and helps brighten dark circles, but I’m mainly just trying to use it up.
Facial oil: Teami soothing facial oil with blue tansy, lavender, and white sage leaf. I use this oil at night to treat my inflammation. It helps that it smells calming as well.
Other treatments: Mario badescu drying lotion. I use this when I have a minor breakout around my nose or chin ( I get oily in the T-zone occasionally).
That’s pretty much it! I do the same thing in the morning but I use CeraVe sunscreen after the moisturizer, and instead of the Teami facial oil I use the Trilogy Rosehip oil with antioxidants.
I am thinking about incorporating an essence to replace my facial spray soon because I’m almost out. I will update again when I change my products again.
*EDIT* I forgot to add that I usually do a lip mask at night as well, especially during the winter. I use Nooni water bending lip mask with sea buckthorn oil and apple water.
