Hmm… Look at there pictures! Sasuke gets so jealous when he’s not the one Sakura’s smiling to or the one who gets Sakura’s attention and appreciation. He just gets really jealous when it comes to his waifu! xD
And there’s one really interesting panel, which has been kind of ignored, as not many people were concentrated on Sasuke’s expression while reading it.
But… Look:
At first glance, this panel may be considered as a regular panel of Team 7. There’s the regular interaction between Sakura and Naruto.
BUT then there’s Sasuke looking sad/extremely upset/SO DONE. I’m sure that he has this miserable expression as a result of seeing Sakura talking only to Naruto and asking him different things. On the other hand, Sakura would certainly ask Sasuke first, just like she always did in the past, but she doesn’t know how. In this part of the war, she still doesn’t know how to talk to him and what his answer would be.
Furthermore, at this time, Sasuke didn’t know for sure what Sakura felt for him. He didn’t know whether Sakura started developing more than just platonic feelings for Naruto. I believe that these thoughts made him feel horrible. He was extremely afraid not to lose her love and not to lose the only girl who has genuinely loved him with all her heart.
His expression looks exactly like the one he had in the hospital room back then, when he got jealous of Naruto, after remembering how happily and beautifully Sakura was smiling at him after she had realized that he saved her.
I’m talking about this panel:
He doesn’t want to see Sakura smiling at Naruto or anyone else, except him. He wants to know that he’s always the only one who saves her and gets her attention and he gets really jealous when somebody else does that, especially Naruto.
