Aurora’s Borealis - Part 2 out of 2 (Page 8-12, and some concept art)

Part 2 of my Illustration and Motion Comics class. I’ve added some concept art too!

Colouring the aurora was really challenging and I like to think that I succeed :’) The illustration quality got butchered when I downscaled and exported it into gifs :( If you want to view the comic in full quality, I have the PDF here!

Aurora’s Borealis - Part 1 out of 2 (Page 1-7)

Here’s my comic for my Illustration and Motion Comics class. The theme that was given to us was ‘myths and legends from Europe and the Middle East’. I chose the myth of the aurora borealis and twisted it to make my original story. I was inspired by Norwegian culture and design. I really want to visit Norway one day and see the northern lights with my own eyes…

I put so much blood, sweat, and tears to finish this assignment on time T_T I’m not really very good at writing stories but I really tried hard on this one. I hope you like it!
