     Camilla was surprised she had been swept onto the dance floor so quickly. She had expected this event to be full of young people and their shenanigans and flirtations not for her to be pulled into the fray so swiftly and quickly. 

     The dance had begun to slip into a comfortable rhythm both enjoying the anonymity of makes and silence but one question still burned in her. One Sal had torn from her heart and imprinted in her mind. So soft brown eyes looked through a red lace mask perplexed and shining with awe.

"What?! No, of course that’s not what I’m saying…just..you’d left it this long since you and Sal seperated, I didn’t know you were interested in finding someone new, I think it’s great, honestly. I don’t know whether I should find a date." 

Georgie nibbled the side of her fingertip slightly, like she did when she was nervous. “Would you, if you were me?”  

She had no idea if Sal would have someone in mind for her to work with on the night, it was a pretty good oppourtunity for him to get some information, but couldn’t he let her just have one evening off?

Tony peered around, a bit confused. Had she been talking to him? About Gio? Tony raised an eyebrow at Camilla, wondering what trouble she had been looking for by walking into enemy territory. Nothing good, he could imagine. There was never anything good happening when a Luciano came their way. Still, Tony tried not to forget that they had once been friends… Although, that was long gone. “Yes, he does, but I can also imagine a place like this won’t like you much, Camilla. Probably not your best idea to cross enemy lines, eh?”

Jesus Christ...I have no reason to double cross you, no ulterior motives, no connection to Sal to motivate me to do any of the above yet simply by the stamp of a name  I am glared at from all angers and treated with suspicion? Please! You people have all this wealth and recreation yet you can't relax?" 

Her eyes looked about the dancers and patrons. "Yes not quite my favorite place on earth....serving the sexual desires of men....and beautiful young men bringing out passion in probably married men....a little close to home as i am sure half the city knows by know. It's not like I was ever allowed a private life" she muttered bitterly. "But yes. Have you seen Gi at all? Even if it wasn't around here? He's proving allusive today and I need to chat"

Savannah had to do a double take when she saw the woman everyone was suddenly murmuring about, and she couldn’t help but curse to herself. Idiot woman, she was going to get herself killed and Savannah was not trying to go through the hassle of hiring someone to clean the bloodstains from the floor. So, she supposed it was her job to stop Camilla before she did anything stupid. “I do know, but he’s not here right now, surprisingly. And if I were you, I wouldn’t be here either.”

Camilla simply laughed softly eyes darting about the tense figures around the room. Did they really think so little of her to stir trouble? To get her own hands dirty ? Really! The nerve of some people! Here she came in peace and friendship and was treated with such hostility?!

She however treated Savannah with all the civility in the world....well maybe a little snark.  "Oh i know i know....it's dangerous and all that fuss. But I am determined to detached myself from Sal and now that he has taken up the Berardi clan into his grand empire I have no side to take against you all? So calm yourselves...Jesus....Plus I wouldn't come here if i hadn't checked everywhere else first...."
