It’s the How I Met Your Mother Effect. If an ending betrays the viewers and the story badly enough, it actively cancels out the cultural influence of the show. It decreases the rewatch value and diminishes the fondness and relatability of earlier seasons.

So I’m crying right now because two of my favourite TV hosts played a game show last night against their network and won 15 minutes of showtime, where the network wouldn’t have any influence on.

You know what they used it for?

They showed an art exhibition called “Männerwelten” (Worlds of men) where women presented the sexual abuse we experience every day.

It was so well done and so so important.
