It’s hard to put into words how exhausting this journey has been.

Since losing our home and the life we once knew, everything has felt uncertain 💔

Every day we try to keep going, stay hopeful, and believe that maybe things can still get better somehow.

I’m trying to continue my education while also helping my family through one of the hardest periods of our lives. Some days I feel strong… and other days everything just feels too heavy.

This is going to make me sound like I'm a scientist observing a specimen but I adore Mike's behavior in across the FNAF canon. Because you've got things that really contrast with one another, flip flopping behavior, also change and development. Also one thing I love about this is that there's only so much dialogue and written thoughts, and the rest of it is actions. But when you think about the actions it says so much. Some of it is smaller things that you may not have even thought about, but it'll tell you so much about what type of person he is and I kind of love this. Fuck dude he contains multitudes. I'm going to talk about all of it.

Midnight Motorist: Putting himself between his drunk abusive father and little brother and defending the kid and talking back to William. Really fucking bold.

FNAF 4 minigames: The same year as Midnight Motorist by the way. One week of cruel behavior that I would argue go beyond just pranks and are a sign of something more personal happening. But at the same time it's so fucking childish. Literally waiting patiently in the house for who knows how long for the kid to walk by.

Sister Location: The most melancholic sounding person you've ever heard in your entire life. Ran with his arms open into death. How could that be the same guy as from the logbook? But at the same time, so committed to the Immortal and the Restless that on night 4 he watches it when he gets home like nothing even happened. In the logbook we see that he was salty about getting the exotic butters instead of the cash basket, but in the alternate ending he puts them on top of the TV like something he treasures.

Logbook: This book is filled with jokes, morbid humor, sarcasm, but also some pretty comical jokes. On some pages he hints at his desire to die, but on other pages there are childish drawings of superheroes. He says he has a habit of chewing gum, but we don't even know if he's able to taste anymore. If that's the case he literally does it for the love of the game. Also this book along with Ticket to Fun suggests that he is trying to warn other Fazbear employees of what they're getting into but does so subtly so management doesn't pick up on it.

You're The Band: Extremely bad at lying about how much he knows about Freddy's. Failing to not come off as weird and creepy. Scares Sylvia so bad that she calls the police because he's just fucking lurking around her yard. His excuse for why is is "I was looking for my dog because he got off of his leash" but he is not even holding a leash. He is described to look like a 20 year old college kid but talks like "back in my day..." Grabs Syliva and pulls her into the bushes and holds her there so strongly she can't move, but then is reassuring with what is described as a gentle tone. Broke into Sylvia's house and took the mask, then was like "oh yeah sorry about that I was feeling kind of goofy." As soon as they're in Freddy's he's locked in fucking jumping onto the stage and pulling some crazy shit for a guy who supposedly doesn't know what's going on. Then he's gone. Disappears into the night after saving the day like a super hero, except he has no charisma or aura.

FNAF 6: He deliberately found this job. Like it wasn't even intended for him but he found it, probably on LinkedIn. The whole thing is a trap, and he might have already known that and decided that he'd stay and this would be where it ends. But if that's the case he doesn't seem at all too deterred about that. If the overall vibe of the game and the illustrations of the bear are anything to go off of, then he was having the time of his fucking life. He even got a suit for the occasion. A blue and yellow one. Who the fuck does that? He also canonically maxed out the stage for a place he knew would be defunct by Saturday. There is only one item in the entire game that gives a happiness point, and it's a jar of pickles on a display stand. He takes the drawings that the children made during the day and puts them up on the wall of his office. Also there's a soft drink cup in his office. Can he even drink anymore? And when he's not in the office fending off animations that are trying to kill him he's literally playing. He's getting ducks out of the pond bro. And then during the fire feels he is exactly where he wants to be.
