not using AI genuinely feels like the rest of the world is experiencing some kind of mass amnesia. if someone says they never use it, the immediate response is that can't be true because "everyone" uses it to write their emails or answer their questions. saw a comment suggesting that not using chatgpt to write an essay is "like the 90s". girl I graduated in 2021 and we weren't doing that! how is it that everyone has suddenly forgotten that they were entirely capable of doing these things all by themselves for their entire lives up until the past few years!! am I going crazy!!!

i should be clear i didn't HATE it when i left the theater but everyone constantly gassing it up has DEFINITELY made me dislike it more

I just saw this movie and felt absolutely nothing. And I mean nothing, except maybe a little bit sad when the hawk died. It was bizarre, because there were a bunch of people crying in the theatre, and I was like “Seriously? For this?” It’s like I could understand what the movie was trying to make me feel, but it completely and utterly ricocheted off my heart. It’s like the acting was real, but it didn’t connect with me at all. It wasn’t interesting. I sat there wondering what the point was. Like I got the message about grief and art and everything, but it just seemed so obvious what was going to happen and it felt flat when it did happen that I was like wtf. And I’ve been through real grief, so that wasn’t why I couldn’t connect. It just…I don’t know, honestly. Something just wasn’t there.

I don’t even regret watching it, it was a 3 star movie for me, but to see it so praised makes me feel like I’m living on a completely different planet than everyone else.
