hi! I’m not really active anymore (darn that non-camp career life), but I still love camp very much. My camp is in the pacific NW, my favorite quiet moments were being up early by the lake before everyone else was up, my favorite loud moments were all-camp games, and the absolute best part was the people I worked with. I think the best closing songs are the ones that get really deeply tied to certain summers/situations, we sang How Could Anyone (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aF7yFOlOk9M except a capella and more upbeat lol) for staff closing, and Country Roads always makes me think of the whole camp singing really joyfully.
Making camp playlists always helped me lean into campsickness. It’s not going to go away quickly, you might as well just bask in it <3
