I DID IT I DID IT, I FINALLY UPDATED! It took me forever to make this art. I should know better than to attempt a background, lol! But looook at Takeru, he is soooooooo cuuuuuute.

In today's update, the younger prince of Hakone returns to his birth country! And there was much tomfoolery! Takeru is here to support Yamato- and apparently, to flirt with literally everyone. Please give it a read, it's charming af!

What better way to celebrate 10 years of tri / @triweek2025 (and 10 years of me being active in the Digimon fandom on Tumblr, WOW!) than by finishing this fic, which I started waaaaay back in 2018 for the @makinishiweek shipping celebration? It's been a long time coming, but finally, it's DONE! I still love them! Their dynamic compels me, and this is how I chose to give them a little bit of closure :D

late for the @campdigimonth screenshot redraw event, but I wanted to get something out. I spent waaaaay too much time trying to figure out what my "style" is (I don't make a lot of art tbh)... and then I realized my style is uhhh "drawing the characters as adults" lmaooo. So that's what I did. It's not super detailed, but I like it anyway. The original screencap is one of my all time faves because of how ominous it is. I have no idea what led to a repeat as adults, so everyone's free to make up their own story behind that.

day 727 - my last @campdigimonth goal for january was to continue a series of ideas of survive art that i'd written down but not finished, so this morning i decided to finally finish my takuma & shakomon shopping WIP! part of my series of the humans & kemonogami interacting with their friends who aren't their partners! here are the previous two in the series, saki & kunemon and the professor & floramon, and here's the original sketch i had for this one!

Camp Digimonth and Digimon Redraw Event

I've been wanting to do some studies on Digimon Adventure's gorgeous backgrounds for months, but alas. Alack! I. Kept forgetting.

But then I saw that @campdigimonth was doing a screenshot redraw, and that was enough to finally force me into doing some!

I wasn't aiming to recreate the background scenes 1 to 1, but just to play with the style, and y'know what? I had fun.

The last set is a more traditional 'redraw in my style', with some minor effects differences between them.

Special thanks to the people @campdigimonth for hosting this, I can't wait to see what else gets made!

Digimon screenshot redraw. WITH A TWIST

So,ething thats always bothers me is what would have it looked like if tri. Had stuck closer to the nakatsuru designs. So i traced the high school character screenshots for the adventure characters and middle school aged characters for the 02 kids from digimon adventure. I thought about kizuna too, but seeing as how Iori is the only 17 yr old in kizuna that would be a bit harder imo..

I call this lazy redraws since I didn’t bother to color them except one.

I’m very impressed though that I could draw Taichi’s dorito hair from that angle.

Daisuke with Lui is a special addition because I saw Lui’s rough sketch where he has this very 02 style character design. So i had to include him in that timeline <3

I also included Meiko, because of course I did. <3

Camp Digimonth 2025: You Need A Promotion, I Want A Shake Up, So Let's Get Married! Chapter 4

Haha heyyyyy so this was meant to be out last year but freelance gig and lots of real life hell kinda stopped that, but here it is now! Wooo yaaaaaay it's back the jyoumi jdrama romcom fic is back

Chapter Summary: Jou has to try and comprehend the plan Mimi presented to him, and starts to question his thought process when he accepts it.

The only thing Mimi needs to do is get the word out, and the best way possibly is happily placed within her lap…

Jou stared at Mimi with a mix of bafflement and horror, as if a second head had sprouted from her body.

However, that didn’t deter Mimi’s bright energy or her grin.

“Yeah!”

“I-I’m sorry,” he started, feeling his face heat up rapidly as his cheeks turned a deep crimson at the very thought, “Wh-Where did this come from???”

“Think about it! If I supposedly have a relationship and nothing happens to my popularity, then it proves my manager was worrying for no reason!”

“O…kay…” Jou mumbled, nodding slowly.

“And if you have a relationship, then your dad will realize you’re taking your job and all those fundraisers seriously!”

“I-I mean, I guess…” Jou said, “But you realize what you’re saying, right?”

“Yeah?” Mimi said with a furrowed brow.

“We would have to get married,” he said, stressing that last word extra hard in hopes that she would realize what she was saying, but Mimi just laughed.

“Jou! We wouldn’t actually get married,” she told him. He blinked once, then twice.

“Huh?”

“We just tell people we got married,” she said.

“We… tell people we got married…” he repeated slowly. His head was still spinning, frankly, and given the idea she presented, he wasn’t sure when it would stop.

“Mhm!” Mimi chirped, preening proudly as she stood on the balls of her feet, “It solves both of our problems!”

“I mean, it does…” he agreed, “But I don’t know…”

It was a lot to try and process.

“I don’t want you to feel pressured, of course. If you’re really not comfortable, we don’t have to, I’m sorry.”

He glanced up at her, and the awkwardness was clear on her face. It seemed like she regretted the idea as soon as she offered it up.

But at the same time, if they did this, he wouldn’t have to worry about looking for a relationship, his father wouldn’t be so hard on him, and he’d have a chance at that promotion…

“There’s still a lot to think about with this,” he said, “Figuring out our living situation, what we’d tell people… What would happen if one of us did want to pursue a relationship with someone one day?”

“Oooh…” Mimi said, hissing after. “I mean, I have a guest bedroom, so you could always stay here and we could just split rent? And, well, we’d just tell people we’re married.”

That made sense, right? If they had to seem the part, it wouldn’t be hard, but…

“I guess for relationships, well…” she trailed off, “We wouldn’t actually be married, so we could just pretend to get a divorce?”

“There might be some trouble with that…” Jou said. Mimi shrugged.

“Yeah, but I think things are at a point where it shouldn’t be that bad.”

She was taking this in stride, Mimi knew that, but honestly, there would be ways they could figure this out— ways that wouldn’t make either of them look bad.

Jou cupped his chin in his hand, lips pursed as he fell deep in thought. He wasn’t looking for a relationship at the moment, anyways…

“There’s still a lot to consider and to account for, but why not?” he said, standing up and looking Mimi in the eye, “Let’s get married.”

Fanfic Update: Infinite Possibilities

Hey darlings! It's my birthday, and as is my 12 year tradition, I am publishing a fic chapter :D I've completed my @campdigimonth goal of publishing a chapter of Infinite Possibilities! Read it on AO3 or FFN!

I'm so stoked to share this one with you because it covers some like... Everyday 'living with digimon on Earth' stuff that I am obsessed with. Taichi, Koushiro, and Eimi go to dinner together with Tentomon and Agumon, and we see what it's like to eat with a digimon, particularly in public, and I think the details are delightful and interesting.

A friendly heads up to my aromantic friends that the final scene of this update (after the XXX scene break) has some mild romantic-ish teasing (one of those "soooo what's going on what that person" deals). It's not much, but I'd rather let you know ahead of time.
