If he could see straight, Zeke would probably be seeing stars.

As it stands, he merely staggered over to a nearby tree and leaned on it, holding his head with both hands and whining. He must’ve frightened one of the moose, as it had hauled off and kicked him in the side of the head before running off. 

Zeke didn’t really blame it, honestly.. He just wished the forest would stop spinning. 

Wait, what was that red thing? 

He tried concentrating on it, but soon squinted his eyes shut, letting out another whine.

Zeke could never tell if it was something he ate, the radiation sickness, or just generally something to do with the way he was now.

Suddenly, it hit him. Hard.

 Ezekiel couldn’t help it; he pitched forward, emptying his stomach onto the dirt below the tree he was in, just barely managing to grab a hold of it’s trunk to steady himself. As he noticed the punk walk up, he could barely hiss and growl in between waves. 

God, he really was sick this time.

He’d finally caught him. 

Zeke had gotten a terrible feeling from this one, and he knew he’d feel at least somewhat more secure if he’d captured him.  

Now that he had him though, he had no idea what to do with him.

Getting him was easy, as he’d caught..Mike? -That was his name, right?-  roaming around at night and he’d seized the opportunity to pounce. One of the logging tables in the mine served it’s purpose, Zeke strapping the lanky guy to it. 

He walked over and jumped onto the smaller table to the left of it, perching and looking over the other teen; pondering what he should do with him.

It was a low day. 

A high day mentally, but a low day emotionally. Yet another season, yet another group of campers for Chris to play with and he was frustrated as all hell that he couldn’t go home. Even if Zeke could physically go home, his parents obviously didn’t care about him enough to check on him. 

That only upset him more.

He growled low, then screeched; clawing and beating the cave wall near the mouth. 

He hadn’t even noticed the man walk up behind him.
