Genuine question: who are Luna and Melis? I’ve scrolled through both their tags and somehow I’m not any clearer about it than I was before I did so.

This is the best question I've ever gotten that I'm not sure how to answer. Who, indeed.

This is Luna:

She's the one I'm the most sure of because I've known her the longest (she's 8.) Luna is our mother's best child. She is deeply upset by minor inconveniences and gets scared of her own food bowl, but gives great hugs. For a long time, we wondered what her purpose was exactly, but have since concluded she doesn't have one. We love that for her.

This is Melis:

Melis (Blodøks first of her name etc etc) is one year old and has the unique talent of both causing immense puppy fever and also curing it almost immediately. She has proven herself capable of deep thought and complex problem solving, but finds it tedious. If she was a 90s cartoon character, she'd be the one with the oversized mallet. My mother calls her The Little Satan. She's perfect.
