I decided to do this list of things/fabrics I had to buy for my Donna Troy costume to establish a price of it. I think that (since for most people cosplay is an hobby) it's important to have a budget and an idea of how much you're going to spend on a costume. So I'll share how I did it!!

Here's the picture where I took ispiration for my costume!
For this cosplay were needed:
- the shirt
- the shorts (or pants)
- red shoes and laces
- bracelets
- a black wig with ponytail
- the lazo
1) The T-shirt:
Of course I made it myself all of it, but here's an advice I always share: if you find something similar at a good price, buy it! You can add details later.
The red fabric it's a basic jersey; I bought 60 cm of it, and I paid about 3 euros. Of course, if you want a longer shirt you have to buy more of it.
The eagle is made of faux leather, with gold acrylic paint. I already had some of that fabric, but I can tell you it's sold at 11 euros for meter, so is really cheap. The acrylic paint on the other side isn't very cheap, this was a 5 euros jar.
The border is golden-ish bias tape (I found the english for it!! I'm awesome). I bought 2 m at 50 cents per meter.
The half-ball things on the shoulders cost 1 euro.
2) The shorts:
The blue fabric was left from my Nightwing costume, but it's basic blue cotton lycra. It's bought from spandexworld.com, at 8 dollars per yard. You definitely don't need one yard to do this, half would work. (But if you buy the fabric from there, you can't add halves).
The stars are 8 on the front and 6 on the back, and they're all made with white faux leather; the price was always 11 euros per meter, but it had some leftovers of that too.
3) The shoes:
Tbh, I bought these shoes from Decathlon's ballet section. It's a french store chain for sport activities, and the shoes are sold for 5 euros. I bought white ones, and painted them with red acrylic.
I made the strings Donna has on the legs with some elastic (painted of the same color). The paint it's a little expensive (from 3 to 5 euros), but the elastic is really cheap (1 euro max).
4) The bracelets:
I had these commissioned and they are a gift, so I don't really know how much the leather costs (it isn't a fabric of course, the material is different). I think you can find a cheap way to do these, with fabric, and have a good result too.
5) The wig:
You can find an identical wig on ebay. With like 20 dollars you can totally have a good, functional wig, that you can use for other cosplays anyway.
6) The lazo:
This was a little expensive because it's 1.5m and it was sold for like 3 euros per meter, which it's absurd just for a string. But it is an amazing lazo and I love the effect.
And that's all folks! As always, I hope you were able to understand my explanations. It's not easy to talk about this stuff in another language, I try to be clear!
In conclusion, I spent about 25 euros for the costume, and 15 just for the wig. Which is apparently a lot, but I assure you that this costume isn't simple as it seems :)
