-POLITICAL VOTING -Jakku can never afford to go, despite Jakku Star being the highest rated holoshow on the planet -Coruscants the equivalent of the uk theyre in the big five and they get to go to the finals every year and they try really hard but no one ever gives them any points -Naboo pulling out the golden trifecta of wind machines costume changes and pyrotechnics literally every year -Tatooine pulling a greece and sending acts to deliberately lose - “please dont vote for us we cant afford to host this” -one year they send a five member jawa band, they dont even have costumes or instruments, everyone loves it and they place second -the Hutts making a mint of the betting pools every year -POLITCAL VOTING -interspecies acts like the bubble opera, half the crowd dont know whats going on but theyre into it anyway -high profile guest judges on the panel, one year leia organa is made to sit on it -PROTEST SONGS AGAINST CURRENT ISSUES -the year after the Hosinan System gets blown up at least half the acts are anti first order ballads -at least three of these involve someone dressed up as general hux -random unkown regions planets no ones ever heard of showing up to participate and show off their traditional culture -there is at least one animal killed on stage one year during a ritualistic hunting dance -they make rules after that -Lando definitely represented Bespin one year

PSA to anyone taking photos at conventions

Mostly directed at people taking photos of cosplayers, but still applies to all.

- If a cosplayer is posing for another photographer, ask both the cosplayer and photographer if you can take a photo before doing so. Sniping is rude to everyone involved.

- In general, do not take photos of anyone without asking them first. If you ask them, they will pose (or say no). They almost definitely do not want that photo of them on the phone/talking to friends/eating a sandwich to exist anywhere. In any other situation it would be considered rude to take photos of strangers without consent, why are conventions any different??

- If you absolutely must take candids, show the subject of the photo afterwards. Ask them if they’re cool with it. If they ask you to delete it, do so.

- It really shouldn’t need to be said, but don’t stand on a balcony/under the stairs and take perv shots. Just. No. Stop.

- As a general rule, if you wouldn’t feel comfortable showing the subject of the picture the photo you just took, do not take the photo.

Just be polite and respectful, people. It’s really not that hard, and cosplayers are there to enjoy the convention the same as you are. We aren’t there for your entertainment.

I just realized……Hydra knew super-soldiers could survive despite being cryogenically frozen, because they did it to the Winter Soldier. So they knew for certain that Captain America was alive after he crashed the plane in the Arctic.

I find the timing of Cap’s find very suspicious.

I personally believe Obadiah Stane was somewhat affiliated with Hydra (and had them send the Winter Soldier to have Howard killed). And he could easily influence where Howard searched for Steve and the plane.

I believe that Obadiah misdirected Howard intentionally whenever it looled like he was close, bc Hydra didn’t want Captain America back. It was only when Obadiah died that SHIELD found Cap.
