Hilloween

Hilloween 2013. A fun community event located in Cal Anderson Park, Capitol Hill, on October 26th from 12pm-3pm. Come join us for a day filled with musical performances, activities, crazy costumes, trick-or-treating, a marching band, and more! This event is free and open to all ages. Hilloween 2013 will be an amazing event and a memorable day!

Recess Monkey is joining Hilloween for the second year in  row! They will be playing in the Main Music tent brought to you by the Broadway Imporovement Association. A big thank you to both for their many talents and support. 

Joining Recess Monkey will be Caspar Baby Pants and two special performances by Animate Objects Physical Theatre.

Mr. Bones candy was so cool! I loved the coffin case mostly. The candy itself was secondary to the experience lol. My Monster in my Pocket Vampiress took up residence in the coffin case after the candy I believe.

Vanilla, pumpkin (or carrot) and chocolate cake. Pretty simple to do.

One box of each cake mix. Prepare according to recipe, each in a 9" round cake pan. 

When cakes are done, let them cool. 

Cut off any extra risen cake from the middle and stack.

2 packages of your favorite frosting. Apply first pack to the top layer. The second package divide in two. Add orange food coloring to half, and brown to the other half. Frost the remainder of the cake. 

Top with candy corn. 

Enjoy.
