My takeaways from Ship Week 2026

Transformers showed up twice; didn't realize it had such a presence on Tumblr

I'm shocked at Johnlock's placement. I was sure it would either be in the top 20 or not on the list at all; Destiel was number 9 for pete's sake

Sambucky is higher than Stucky somehow? Tumblr, it's like I don't even know you

Kerdly somehow not only made the cut, but almost got into the top 50; common Berdly W

Bakudeku was somehow the only My Hero Academia pairing to make the list

Flambert made it all the way to number 24, yet Robert x Visi and Robert x Blazer didn't make the list at all

I love how the force required to destroy a dump truck is apparently a standard unit of measurement in the Pokémon world

Just started listening to Epic. And I'm thinking about post-Odyssey. Specifically the lesser known character of Poliporthes. He's the first member of Odysseus' family born after he returns to Ithaca. Depending on the version, he's either Ody and Penelope's younger son, or he's Telemachus' son whom Odysseus gets to name. Sadly there isn't much on him, but he's perfect OC fuel lol

Meanwhile then I looked up what happened to Telemachus...and he marries Circe. This is incredibly weird in myth because she's had children with his father (seriously, Odysseus has ~11 children, all but three are Circe's from different stories) but in Epic, that didn't happen so it's less weird. Now we get Telemachus visiting an old friend of his Dad's and falling in love with her. Maybe we can shift Circe's children to Telemachus instead of his father.
