Usually, I don’t do things in landscape but for this one it felt necessary. TVL fans how we feeling after the season finale? Still figuring out a title but this is the Project Hail Mary art that I made. And now I must sleep bc I was supposed to be in bed over an hour ago

Definitely not perfect by any means but this is a new strategy I’m trying out for some paintings I’m in the process of making. I have about 6-7 workshops coming up this summer at one of the local libraries in my area. And you may be thinking “wow summer is like next month sans” (or you’re scrolling past this rant) but this is how I plan to do some of the more complicated ones. I’m sketching the more complicated or “undecided” ideas with my acrylic markers. This way I can play around with color pallets on a much smaller scale without having to sacrifice a canvas if it doesn’t turn out
It should 100% be illegal for companies to make you give them your payment information when you sign up for a free trial version of their product. It is not necessary and there is no good fucking reason for them to do it. It’s blatantly just so they can steal forgetful customers’ money.

Ngl guys I can’t stop thinking about C&A:
From what I gather, Caine and (maybe) Abel were two different AI projects that happened kinda one after another. Caine first, he was found to be more defective but they didn’t want to delete him. So he was moved to a folder or in that box, to be returned to at some point.
Kinger, Scratch and the team start a new one, I’m guessing it was Abel but of course at this point so many things are up in the air I could totally be wrong on the name. Anyway. This one does better! Which is great for them; it’s producing better quality images, maybe it is more obedient even.
Caine probably gained sentience at some point while the team was working on Abel. I won’t call it jealousy bc you have to feel to have that understanding, I want to call it opportunity. Caine saw or sensed Abel’s presence, the amount of progress it was making but also that it was obedient and an easy code to work with. So Caine takes his opportunity to “escape” the confines of where they put him and basically absorb/kill Abel.
Then of course maybe the team is about to test out the equipment they all think it’s safe because Abel is usually obedient. Imagine the horror they must have felt when they couldn’t get the head sets off and heard “MY NAMES CAINE!”
Now that’s a lot right? That’s a lot to think about just in a whole this is BEFORE we see what happens to everyone but Kinger, even without understanding why for each or knowing a whole story.
But for me personally, at the moment I’m under the impression that the other AI was Abel. I don’t want to do a whole “this is my theory” thing bc it’s not about that’s. What’s getting to me is
If I’m right, that leads to ANOTHER set of questions that makes me MORE NERVOUS
If Abel was the other AI, did Caine finally delete the last of Abel in Ep.7? Was he really lurking while Caine built all of this?
Or
Did Caine just…reuse that name and kept it from Kinger as long as possible (while messing with his mind ?) to avoid kinger remembering?
I’m currently in the process of rewatching so I may edit this at some point or flat out delete if I check back and it’s too silly lol
Uh so I made this waiting for Ep. 8 and now my brain is broken from watching it
can’t even joke about wishing my fics could write themselves without people mistaking it for ai usage anymore. what a lost whimsy

My coworker and I recently went through a fun phase of drawing The Amazing Digital Circus characters on scrap paper/sticky notes (part 2 bc tumblr only allows 10 pics per post)
This is a mix of: crayon, bic pens/gel pens/whatever office pens on hand, colored pencils, markers, chalk marker and expo marker on some, highlighter? I think?
