Watching: Kedi (2016) - a documentary about the street cats in Istanbul. Sweet and easy to watch. Taskmaster seasons 19 and 20. Shrek 2 with friends which is just an excellent film haha.

Reading: first paragraph of a French book I got recently. My own paper draft.

- Listening: My friend's practice talk for his faculty interview! этажи - an album by Molchat Doma, who are a Belarusian band. I was pleasantly surprised to find I could understand a few of the lyrics. The rain pouring down this week.

- Watching: Started Off Season, which is not great.

- Reading:

Started The Ten Loves of Mr Nishino by Hiromi Kawakami, and I don't know enough to have an opinion yet.

I also read The Ministry of Time by Kaliane Bradley in one sitting - it made me cry! I really responded to the way she described the protagonist's feelings towards her expat; it made me think of my own neuroses. Also it includes one of my favourite topics - doomed Artic explorers!

- Playing:

Crosswords. I found https://www.crosswithfriends.com/ and am glad to see my crosswording skills haven't atrophied too much. Maybe this will be the year I re-try to figure out cryptic crosswords?

Ticket To Ride with some friends, which is a fun game. I came second by just a few points, which was a nice result.
