A late, but hopefully a very Happy Birthday Dear Lisa♥
“Alright…GOD I HATE DOING MUSHI STUFF LIKE THIS.”
Stomping her feet around the bottom level of the warehouse, Mashiro had stayed up nights on in trying to figure out the perfect gift for her bestfriend, and dear sister. But what would be the perfect gift? She’d discarded to many idea’s a long the line, that towards the end of it there was nothing left.
Girly things did appeal to Lisa, but not as much as her normal manga, and it turned out that Love had done a good job in getting her a gift, she’d loved it. Now since she was second in line, her gift had to be just as good, or close. The male Vizard and herself always competed when it came to Lisa’s attention, tho both with very different motives.
Mashiro wasn’t one to share, and Love wanted exactly that, her love. But she’d never be one to blow that secret out of the water, no matter how much she’d love to use that ace.
Looking down at the wrapped gift in her hand, it was merely a few inches bigger than her palm, extending outward past all sides. Wrapped in bright purple paper, and a silver bow, it was time to give it to her. She’d only gotten her flowers to day of, and wanted more than anything for this to be ready, but it had to be perfect so time was needed.
“Feh, I hate thinking I owe that old man anything, but I have to say…he did come through for me, so it be only fair to give him some credit.” For a split second Mashiro smiled, and remembered how he didn’t even hesitate to help her, despite how much the two bickered and fought.
Looking up to the second level her hazel eyes began to move around to make sure that no one was active up there, seeing no movement Mashiro jumped up and ran off in the direction of Lisa’s room.
Reaching it faster than normal, she stood there nervously. How the hell was she gonna explain being so nice at this moment, “She’s gonna think I’m soft…” A birthday was only once a year, so maybe showing one day of weakness wouldn’t be so bad.
Debating between her normal entry, and actually knocking. Robotically she raised a hand to knock quietly, “Lisa are you in there?” When the voice of the ravenette reached her ears, Mashiro walked in and simply jumped up and landed on the bed beside her.
“I’m sorry it’s late, but I had to make sure it was perfect, and before you jump to conclusions I didn’t steal it, or beat up anyone for it. We had it made for you…just for you.”
Sitting the package next to her, with one gentle push it made contact with her leg, then the greenette turned sideways to hide the faint blush on her cheeks.
Inside of the small box laid a replica of her old Lieutenants badge, one made just for her as a remembrance of her life. No matter how much she denied it, it was a time she missed more than anything, a long with the old man. The badge had the squads number just like the original, but at the end between the small gaps in one corner laid a graving of a flower, that he used to identify with. Just as she finished opening it, and the expression she wore on her face, Mashiro pulled out from behind her the hat of the man that had been her accomplice.
“I got you this too, he sends his regards. Happy Birthday Lisa.”
