I have no idea what happened. One day she was here being her usual self and then her blog deactivated. I’m really gonna miss her, she brought a lot of life into this fandom and gave us a new perspective. She was a complete doll and while I hope she comes back one day, I’m just glad I met her at all

Unfortunately, I don’t know her! I wish I knew how to reach out to her - she’s a fantastic writer and she seems like a lovely person, and I really hope she’s doing well. I don’t know the circumstances behind her deleting her tumblr and AO3 accounts, but especially given some of the exchanges she had on her tumblr recently, I just hope she’s doing okay.

I always hate thinking about extending the chapter length of No Thing bc first of all it was SUPPOSED to be like. I think 25 chapters long? But also bc I know a lot of people only choose to read WIP fics that have a set chapter count but unfortunately I ramble way too much and I didn't complete this fic before starting to post (which I try to do now for the most part) so It like. Things change! In other news. Scaffolding future chapters. Stay tuned. Hopefully not too much to be added....

For anybody not caught up: Tennessee just passed a new map that pretty much makes it so black neighborhoods have no power in local votes. Two things about this. While protestors were chanting "No Jim Crow", white Tennessee lawmakers were caught laughing on video. On top of this, Representative Justin Pearson and his brother KeShaun Pearson were arrested for trying to give their takes on the matter (which is not only their legal right but literally his job). If you give a shit about black people, help fight this. We can't allow a return to Jim Crow.

For those who have missed it, a tourist in Hawaii decided it would be fun to chuck a rock (a BIG rock) at a monk seal. He missed, but he was captured on video, and when told it was illegal to interfere with them, said "I'm rich, I can pay the fine."

Is the best part that he got doxxed? No.

Is the best part that he got tracked down by a local and beaten? No.

Arrested on state at federal charges, looking at up to 5 years and 50K? Nope.

The best part is the local city council's reaction.
