I’m disappointed in what direction the writers are taking the Betty/Archie/Veronica thing. Not surprised - but still, Betty and Archie’s story was one of the very few things that made sense and was fun in this season.

I would have understood the way Betty and Archie ended their fwb “adventure” if they had stuck with Betty’s story. She’s about to face something dark and she needs a friend; someone who is going to be there for her no matter what, without question. Someone she knows, someone she can rely on. Someone like Archie. I understand that and it makes sense.

But Archie having feelings for Veronica? And throwing that in there? He was ready to leave Veronica for Betty in high school. Betty’s rejection hit so hard that Archie wanted to leave everything and everyone behind to join the naval academy. There was not a lot left between Veronica and Archie. They don’t see each other for seven years and now there are feelings? How?
