Cosmic Kirby

I decided make a Jack Kirby theme vaporwave video featuring some of his most cosmic work from the 60s and 70s; I also decided a sample of an instrumental of David Bowie's Changes, since seemed fitting for the cosmic setting, I also add some sound effects from pixaby to make it sound even more Sci Fi.

I how that y'all enjoy it this was a lot of fun to make.

Pistachio Wave

I recently decided to make another Vaporwave video, which I made by editing clips from Dinosaurs only Two Parter 'Nuts to War' and I simpled and remixed from The Muppet Show's rendition the song 'Why Can't Be Friends' by the band WAR; All and All I Think I did a good job capturing the mood well with Vaporwave style.

I present my latest secondary blog, which will feature some of my more expermental pieces.

I decided in honor of the 105 anniversary of Jack Kirby's birth to do a another What If, in the same vain as my Cinderella piece last year. Now without ado I present Rick and Morty in a Jack Kirby style collage world.

I'd like show some examples of his work here a page from Superman's Pal, Jimmy Olsen #137, published by DC Comics in 1971 but his experiment with collages dates back to the mid sixties during his time with Stan Lee at Marvel Comics.

Here's another example from the classic 1966 Fantastic Four #51 'This Man... This Monster' which is the first apperence of Negative Zone. Kirby would use often use collages to highlight otherworldly other dimensions, this gave me an idea of what his Rick and Morty might have looked like and I took it from there.
