Am I the only one who finds the Council of Elrond incredibly funny? The fact that when something goes wrong, everyone in Middle Earth immediately goes to Elrond for advice, whether an elf, a dwarf, or a man, is just- well. We all know who has all the brain cells in Middle Earth and surprisingly enough, people of Middle Earth seem to know it as well.

So maybe they should start actually listening to him.

Gollum escapes? -> Elrond

Nazgul are being annoying and knock on your door ten times a day? -> Elrond

Sauron's ring has been found? -> Elrond

You have a weird dream? -> Elrond

Saruman is being a dick? -> Elrond

Most of those people don't live even near Rivendell, but evidently, Elrond is just a to-go person when you or someone else fucks up.

I really wish we saw Rebecca Barnes in fatwc because Bucky said he had a sister in the present tense. Imagine Bucky still being an older brother to his baby sister even though she’s close to 100 and he’s still in his 30’s.

Also imagine Bucky with his grand nieces and nephews and potentially great grand nieces and nephews. I’m soft. 😢
