I have always been a huge fan of the discomforting feeling that Liminal spaces give people, but I was just thinking about how J would do in the backrooms, only to realize this guy would honestly BE the most fine out of anyone.

And I feel always so silly for hyping my OC up, but... I guess when facts are facts.

There's a wall? Boom, he phases through that wall. There's a monster chasing him? He would quickly figure out that they're based on emotions, which he could easily avoid (and phase through the attacks if possible). He's got a fantastic memory, so he would know where he came from

If anything, I feel like some of the spaces would cause him to feel a little confused- Should he panic because some of the way things look are deeply uneasy, even if he's not sure why they're deeply upsetting, or should he just know that it's all in the head?

It's a good thing that Gambit has the ability to charm and make people listen to him because with eyes like his combined with probably having the prettiest lashes known to mankind I would NOT be able to listen to a thing he says otherwise.

This is just me typing as I think:

I feel like the sound of Remy, for J when he's just drifting off and not focusing on his telepathy, would sound almost like static when your switching radio stations (at least when they first meet, it probably gets less like that over time),

J probably would shrug it off at first and think that Remy is putting a wall up- He would think that it was fine, not everyone, if anyone, wants someone to drift into their thoughts
