WIP Wednesday! (Even though it’s already thursday here)
A Snowbaz WIP that I really like but have no idea if I’ll finish it...
i know this meme is probably old already but
(text id: Neil Josten @ neilajocksten: Ah yes. Me. My boyfriend. And the guy he swore to protect from the Yakuza.)
they’re making a movie adaptation of Eleanor & Park which for those of you who don’t know is a deeply racist book by Rainbow Rowell please do Asian and Black folks a favor and do not support it
I read this book years ago in middle school and it wasn't one of my favorites but i did enjoy it. I honestly dont remember much about it. I just saw on Twitter that there's going to be a movie adaptation and while at first I was excited after reading the article commented, I realize how messed up the story was and all the stereotypes within it. I'm sorry for supporting this book in the past and i definitely will not be supporting the movie.

This, friends, is the image that sparked the fic. I drew the sketch and the rest is history, as they say. 🧜🏻♂️
“He loves me. An’ I love him. An’ I reckon that makes me a freak and an abomination… but believe me when I say this bleedin’ world ain’t worth much if he’s not in it.” - Simon, “When the Tides Held the Moon”
underwear wasn’t really a thing in 18th century europe and men would instead just wear these long shirts they would then tuck into their breeches, so i believe monty would absolutely take advantage of this whenever percy was lounging around the house in nothing but a shirt

pride month meme: [2/3] lgbtq+ books → Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz
Sometimes, you do things and you do them not because you're thinking but because you are feeling. Because you're feeling too much. And you can't always control the things you do when you're feeling too much.
ARISTOTLE AND DANTE DISCOVER THE SECRETS OF THE UNIVERSE: FAVORITE QUOTES
scars. a sign that you had been hurt. a sign that you had healed.
@creatornetwork pride event: aristotle and dante discover the secrets of the universe
This was what was wrong with me. All this time I had been trying to figure out the secrets of the universe, the secrets of my own body, of my own heart. All of the answers had always been so close and yet I had always fought them without even knowing it. From the minute I’d met Dante, I had fallen in love with him. I just didn’t let myself know it, think it, feel it. My father was right. And it was true what my mother said. We all fight our own private wars.
