This little gem of a #photo was taken about 200 yards from my apartment gates. I drive past this every day and think about this sign. Hey everyone,

I just closed down my print store and launched a suicide awareness and prevention campaign alongside Hope For The Day called BE THE ONE.

I’m working to raise $2,000 for the non-profit’s efforts to educate people everywhere about the different resources they have out there so they do not feel alone in their struggles. This project is about encouraging others to share their stories alongside me and the rest of the Hope For The Day community.

I have struggled with depression since I was 12 years old. I have struggled with contemplating suicide. You are not alone in your struggles. Be the one to create your own page with me and share your story. Encouraging people to speak up is the point of this entire project. Every 13 minutes somebody takes their own life because they feel helpless. It’s your job as a friend, family member and overall human being to be brave and let others they are not alone.
