The death of someone I've never known has never hit me this hard. I suspect it's because while he made shows centered around food, his stories captured so much more. The culture, the history, the broken or mended politics, the social constructs and norms, the PEOPLE, their livelihoods, and on and on. I learned so much from him without even realizing it. Miss you, Anthony Bourdain.
