The Smash Bros. cast swapping anecdotes about their various evil doppelgangers and Mario getting into an argument about whether Wario counts.
Surprisingly, Mario is arguing that Wario does not count as he has literally never made that connection in his life. You can’t just say every fat italian in overalls is a Mario counterpart, he’s his own person with hopes and dreams. Evil hopes and dreams, but still.
Daisy, meanwhile, manages to argue very convincingly that Peach should be considered her evil doppelganger.
Wario is playing Devil’s advocate because being Mario’s evil doppleganger is great for business. If he was just some guy, nobody would buy Warioware.
@kamenriderhamo i am not going to let you hide this in the replies

guy who doesn't understand anything: bark like a pig
remember the era of mario party where donkey kong was framed as a sort of saint/angel figure in opposition to bowser. reliably & consistently events & game elements associated with dk would be like, direct opposites of those associated with bowser, but like, more than just being an explicit mechanical counterpart to bowser, dk was often suggested to be in some kind of infinite (manichaean?) struggle against him-- game mechanics associate them with night & day, have them switch places with each other (castaway bay, the way the dk/bowser spaces work in mp8, & of course clockwork castle where theyre all but transforming into each other), their actions in general border on divine interventions to turn the tide of a battle (which can jostle against each other, eg the train car stuff from mp8)... & like, the result is that wanton misfortune is signified by flames & spikes & enormous castles, in contrast to divine providence, which is signified by. palm trees & bananas. the devil is in hell, & god is in a tropical jungle. this was the status quo for 4 numbered entries

A little comic from last spring I made that hasn’t really had a home anywhere.
I liked the idea of immortality leading to a reverence for life and the world around it, rather than nihilism and wanton destruction. It was also a comforting thought that if immortal beings walked among us, they could see the future of our hope become a reality someday… so it felt relevant again.
While “nerd culture” may be trendy nowadays, when I was growing up you would be beaten to within an inch of your life if you’d even HEARD OF Star Wars & gaming
The captain of the wrestling team would line everyone up and ask if you preferred watching niche sci-fi films like Star Trek that focused on world building or popular action films with sci-fi elements like The Terminator, and if you hesitated before answering he would administer a debilitating body slam, leaving you incapacitated for months.
i'm having a bad day. someone is going to die today (remembers suicide jokes are bad for my mental health) and it's not going to be me. (gets scared someone will report me to the police) people around the world die of natural causes every day. (remembers i want people to think i'm smart) and i know who it's going to be (remembers i want to retain an air of mystery) but i'm not telling.
