Only lasted til 1pm before eating today but that’s cool cause I want to eat when I’m hungry, not starve myself. I was 76.5kg this morning
Ended up eating around 8.20pm. Which would make it pretty close to 24 hours (not sure the exact time of my last meal yesterday but it was in the 8pm hour I think).
I made 90 second Keto bread with butter, cream cheese, cheese, an egg and some leftover salmon.
Unfortunately it actually made me more hungry. I then had a small slice of keto quiche. I’m still feeling hungry but I’m going to drink some water and if that doesn’t help I might have something else small.
It’s 5.44pm and I haven’t eaten anything yet today 🤷♀️ just bulletproof coffee, one around 8am and another around 2pm. Keto is amazing
Was invited with my SO and kids to have lunch at McDonalds with FIL. Went, but said I didn’t want to eat anything. FIL was paying. Went and sat down with the kids. SO comes and tells me he’s ordered me a wrapped chicken thing with lettuce instead of buns. I said ‘oh I did say I didn’t want anything, but thank you’. Food arrives and since FIL has paid for it and SO put the thought into ordering something for me that he thought I could eat, I felt I had to eat it.
The chicken was breaded. It was smothered in mayo and other sauces. It had onion and crispy bacon, egg and cheese and those were good. He also ordered me a zero sugar coke but couldn’t remember which was which with his normal one and mine, I told him to taste it since I can’t tell the difference and he would be able to. He tasted them and immediately handed me mine.
I didn’t eat the chicken. I ate everything else even knowing I was probably going to feel like crap. And I do. I have had a massive, massive energy slump to the point I want to go to sleep, I’m headachy and my stomach is upset. I assume it’s from the mayo and sauces on the burger or the coke wasn’t sugar free. Again, I’m used to sweeteners so I can’t taste the aftertaste, so I literally wouldn’t know.
It was sooo nice of my SO to try to get me something I could eat and I don’t want to come across as ungrateful but I do wish people would respect when you say you don’t want to eat anything and not just order you what they think you should or can eat. Especially when I’ve never stuck to a diet so strictly before. It’s a WOE for me now and a way of life. I wasn’t hungry and I didn’t want to eat it, but for the sake of being polite I am now feeling so shithouse.
Of course I haven’t said anything about it to him. Maybe I should, for future reference, but I feel it’ll just come across ungrateful.

I didn’t think anything was changing much because I haven’t been losing a lot of weight, just gone up and down amongst the same numbers, and my stomach still feels so doughy, but it’s been bothering me in a whole different way lately.
That appears to be because it has dropped, having lost weight? My stretch marks are also more prominent because there’s less fat stretching them now. This actually bothers me because it looks like this will be loose skin if I loose more weight instead of bouncing back which honestly I expected but I’m not prepared for.
Why do I have so much fat at the top of my stomach? I look permanently pregnant.
Anyway I mean honestly I think this looks worse and I would have thought I’d lose a fair amount of weight anyway from the simple fact I STOPPED EATING SUGAR! Cakes! Biscuits! Three sugars in every coffee... a lot of coffee. But that’s not the case. I still have days where I drink no water and I think that’s my undoing.
There’s still no significant weight lost but I’m just gonna keep on keeping on and see if my measurements change. It hasn’t *really* been very long at all.

A little odd to eat initially but actually really good with a little butter and ham between them.
Made out of literally just whipped egg whites, egg yolks, salt and cream cheese.
Still trucking along with keto. On Saturday I went to the kids’ calf club/gala/fair type day and there was nothing I could eat besides sausages so I bought two sausages and ate those and gave my kids the bread haha. I’m not even really tempted to eat things I shouldn’t anymore. Really just have no interest in the crap I used to eat, except I do really miss sushi.
Breakfast - spinach in butter with poached eggs. Nommm
I’m watching a show on Netflix about people living in Alaskan wilderness and the thing I’ve noticed is that they repeatedly say throughout the series that they need to have a diet high in fat because they don’t get many carbohydrates and if they rely on solely the leaner cuts of meat (or muscle cuts) they will get sick or not function/survive properly. I thought that was really interesting because that’s basically what we’re doing with keto, except obviously it’s a choice we’re making more than they are (they’re just working with what’s available). But they constantly try to get the fatty parts of the animals into their diet in order to maintain their bodies.

Lettuce, meat patty (leftover meatball mixture from the other night), mushroom, fried egg, x2 bacon, cheese.
I’m battling with a uti at the moment and I’m miserable. I started tracking again using carb manager.
Bleh.
Yeahhhh I’m fairly certain it’s not good to eat sooo many greens on keto and I know beans are a bit iffy? but honestly it was amazing, fish on the side.
