“Awww, you had it gift wrapped? If only more folks around here were as sweet as you Casey Douglas.”
“If you call newspaper an acceptable substitute for gift wrapping then yeah, gift wrapped.”

“Awww, you had it gift wrapped? If only more folks around here were as sweet as you Casey Douglas.”
“If you call newspaper an acceptable substitute for gift wrapping then yeah, gift wrapped.”
“Is that walker guck on your face?”
“Actually it’s jam. I found some during the last run, left it gift wrapped in your pantry. After I dug into it a little of course. I really couldn’t help myself.”
"But why can’t I go on supply runs?"
“Well I mean we can’t have both our medic’s heading out into the fray at the same time. But also it’s your brother that gives the go ahead to the groups so you’ll have to take it up with him.”
Lily picked on her fingernails and looked away from him. “Well, I guess we’re part of it. The earth only gives in return what we gave it, I think.”
Casey frowned, his brow knitting together. "I can't believe that. Not when the only thing we should be thinking about is surviving until the next day. We can't think that this is something we brought on ourselves, you shouldn't either."
"You mean you’re far too lazy, right?" Nina said, but still offered up her food. For old times sake.
"You know me too well." Casey grinned at her and picked from her plate. "Are you going out on the next supply run? I heard Gabriel's taking the twins brother out with him and needs one more."
"Right," he answered shortly, setting the guns down and narrowing his eyes slightly. "You can keep your attitude to yourself, too."
"Easy, friend." He smirked, brows raised in amusement. "There wasn't any attitude. I'm just particularly touchy about my guns. Just as most people are around here with their weapon of choice." Casey was clearly trying to avoid any sort of staredown and offered him a smile. "I'm Casey. You're Raven and Spencer's older brother right?"
"Human indulgence is what make the world the way it is, I think."
"Do you really believe that? That everything that's happening now... it's our own fault?"
"Thank you. And a lot more things are running out actually. I’ll make you a list."
"Give it to me before we head out next and I'll try to find what you need. No promises though. But if I do find it all do I get some kind of reward? I meaning we the runners of course, but mostly I mean me."
"I’m more familiar with ‘first come first serve’."
"You would." He smirked. "C'mon, can I have a little? I'm far too tired to head back and get something for myself."
"Keep your shirt on," Jefferson said, rolling his eyes. "You shouldn’t just leave them laying around."
"They weren't, that's where I put 'em. Everyone else knows that and they leave them alone just fine."
"No."
"Haven't you ever heard of the phrase 'sharing is caring'?
"I know it’s bland but we’re running out of salt."
"Not bland, people around here would complain endlessly about not having salt with their meals. I'll keep an eye out for when we next head out."
"I’m sure you have."
"It is to an extent, though I guess it could still help with medical stuff a lot. People around camp need to be in their peak condition, so I think they should just pass the alcohol to us."
"It might be a little more difficult to get people to hand over any alcohol they might find for the sake of peak condition. Human's are all about indulgence after all, even in times like these."
"Just a scratch? A doctor wouldn’t call that a scratch, believe me."
"Thanks. We try to make it work. Just next time, you know, on your supply run, try to find more alcohol because we’re running out of that. The medical kind too, not the drinking kind."
"Still, it would've healed alright. I've had worse injuries."
"I'll keep an eye out. But isn't the medical kind the same as the drinking kind? Might be hard pressed to pry that off someone if they found it. I definitely know there are a lot of people in camp praying for a glass of whiskey to drown their sorrows."
"It’s totally necessary if you want to avoid infections. And it’s nothing. Anything to help around here, really."
"It was just a scratch, I'm sure it would've just been a nuisance for a day before it healed. Nothing to waste our med supplies over. Well you're doing a good job, people should tell you that more often if they don't."
"Hey hey whoa there, no no no... those are my guns. Don't touch em..."
Cap, you said we’d fight as a t e a m.
