In the grand scheme of things the SwSh wolves probably aren't that strong if you tried to scale them next to the rest of the box legends which makes it really funny that they hard counter eternatus so badly. Imagine you're an alien eldritch being the dark reflection of the hand of god whose mere slumbering prescene causes pokemon to mutilate and transform into behemoths and in walks a dog who just happens to be steel-fairy type and has a signature move called behemoth blade. I'd be so pissed.

Sometimes being a pokemon fan sucks because nearly every single character is characterized differently adaption to adaption and you can point to the fact that a lot of pokemon characters in their source material aren't very fleshed out to begin with but other times you get cases like Cilan where in the Black and White games he can barely string a sentence together and can't ever be separated from his brothers but in the anime he's a chronic yapper who contains all the world's autism within his multitudes and ditches his brothers within like an episode but in Pokemon Masters he's literally just some guy who stands there and occasionally talks about tea with zero sauce in either direction. Like what are we doing here. This is the closest I will ever get to being a comic book fan.
