you’re nervous.

this is a new school environment and you hope it’s a good one unlike so many other times before. fidgeting with your sweater, you await as the teacher is talking to you ( she’s explaining something, but you don’t really pay attention ). 

then, you’re there. thrust forward in front of a classroom filled with children who STARE through you. you know none of them, a familiar feeling, as the teacher ( you hadn’t paid attention, so you forgot her name ) then introduces you for the rest of the class.

     ❝ everyone, this is FRISK. they’re going to be joining us for the rest of the school year! please treat them kindly as they’re mute. ❞

a weak smile curls at your lips as the teacher, then, scoots you off to sit next to a boy. telling him to help you out with the current work and getting you ... ‘ acquainted ‘ around.
