I'm an ASU graduate who works at a wildlife rescue center most of the time. I also like to spend time with family, listen to music, and worry about everything. Ryan: Honestly, I don't think I've seen myself be that way much either. I'm usually better at taking compliments, but I'm glad you still would like my face regardless. Funny-looking? How do you mean? I feel like your smile really lights up a room, personally. I'm sure you won't. You being you is exactly why you're one of my favorite people. Please do try because I really do assure you that it's true. If it wasn't, I wouldn't be one to lie and say otherwise. Besides, I happen to know Ping pretty well and can say it with confidence. No need to apologize! Like I said, the animals are one draw for me, but the other really is just seeing you in your element, so it's not an issue at all if you do.

Ryan: Well, truthfully, I've never really thought you didn't look good. Even in these 'less flattering clothes', I don't believe that'd change. But, ultimately, there's no pressure at all and I'd hate for you to think you dressing differently would make me think any different of you, so don't worry about it.

Cassie: You're so lucky, I feel like I blush all the time and it's so embarrassing! But it's only embarrassing on me, I swear, it's cute on you! Maybe I just don't give as good compliments as other people, I'm sorry, I'll work on that! And I don't know, I feel like I either do a really small smile or a huge one that I can't help and it just looks... weird? But um I'm glad you like it at least, because it likes to show up a lot when you're around so if you didn't like it, that'd be really inconvenient for you. I'll try my best but sometimes my brain doesn't believe things that easily, especially if they're things I WANT to believe but seem too good to be true, and someone that good and sweet and awesome caring about me back definitely qualifies as too good to be true. I believe you don't lie, I do! I just don't believe that's how anyone feels about me. And okay, good! I just felt like I should apologize in advance just in case though and remind you that just because I get wrapped up in the animals doesn't mean I'm not also wrapped up in you!

Cassie: Okay, now you're just saying that, because I definitely don't look good about 90% of the time, which makes warning you that I'll look worse extra dumb of me lol. I know there's no reason why what I'd look would even matter in the first place, it just slipped out.

Every time I think I know better than to get a serious crush on someone, I mess up and get one and then just get disappointed but I can't even blame anybody for not being interested. He's incredibly thoughtful and articulate and good-natured, so him not liking me isn't a reflection on him. We've both been pretty well, though I think Ping's been just a bit sad lately since he's already missing Li, who just moved out of my apartment and in with my sister instead. Okay! I'm not really one for catching up on rest, I get enough sleep already and I enjoy being productive much more than catching up on television. Partially because I have no idea where to start? Oaklynn: Sometimes you just can't help it! You love them all, but some of them just speak to you in a way that the others don't. It's almost like there was a piece of your heart missing and then when you found them, you found the piece inside of them!

Oaklynn: Anyway, that was a total tangent, I'm sorry! Do you want their names to all be connected to one another, or do you not care about a theme as long as each individual name is cute?

Cassie: That's exactly what it feels like! And of course there's room in your heart for all of them because every animal deserves your love but some of them take up room and also bring light and it's just such a surreal feeling.

Cassie: Don't be sorry! It was nice! I love hearing from people who love animals as much as I do. It makes me feel like there's not something wrong with me for my heart having pieces reserved for little creatures I haven't necessarily met yet sometimes. I know it probably sounds lame but I do love names that are connected to each other in some way. Ideally, if all names are also cute, that would be awesome though! Or maybe cuteness should be the priority? I don't know! What makes most sense???

I love matching names and there are three of them so I thought maybe Pink, Purple, and Peach? Like three p-colors? But that got a resounding silence when I pitched it at the shelter!
