I suppose I have returned.
Sparrow was a little taken back at first- as they ‘flew’ from one place to this very unfamiliar porch. “Wait- THAT’S flying? We just poofed here?” she looked up at him confused, but getting her bearings. “Uh-huh! I’m totally 122 percent ready for this!”
“Yes, my apologies. Perhaps I will take you for a more literal flight some time.” He smiled and stepped forward, tugging her along.
“Good.” Snapping his fingers, Castiel turned Emma’s shirt pink. “She will be along shorty, I am sure.” That should be enough to get her attention and entertain the child. He smirked to himself and waited for her to answer.
Having been on the couch, Emma noticed the change in her shirt colour. She sneered at the colour. Only one person did that. Ever. With a roll of her eyes she stood up, peered around in the house before it occured to her Cas might’ve been using the door again. She took hurried steps to the door, threw it open and was about to say something to Cas when she saw the small child. “Ugh- Cas..random little girl I don’t know…to what do I owe the um occasion?”
Cas chuckled. "Emma, I like your shirt." The angel let go of Sparrow's hand and ushered her closer to Emma. "This is Sparrow. I met her by happenstance and I thought it was my duty to bring her to you." He smiled, looking proud of himself. Cas would let Sparrow explain why she was so important.
