“ maybe i’ll take after some of the superheroes of the future and lose the shirt altogether. the newspapers already call me a degenerate, what’s another insult to stay cool in goddamn hundred degree weather? “
“You do that, I’ll wait for the headlines on the newspaper. ‘New York’s Vigilante Half Naked, Menace to New York’s Women and Youth.’ Or something along those lines. I think I’ll frame it.”
“ jesus, i need a summer uniform. i’m sweating under here. “
“And what’s that going to come out like? Pair of shorts and an undershirt? You’ll be burning up under anything.”

He just side-stepped it and quirked an eyebrow at Frank. “Yeah but we ain’t talkin about me, now are we?” Felix asked with a short laugh, giving his brother a gentle, playful shove. “Let’s go home.”
Frank rolls his eyes, ruffling Felix’ hair as he passes right by him. “No but you should’t be getting all high and mighty on that horse of yours. And you’re making dinner tonight.”
[ @castlcnoir ]
Felix sighed and threw a balled up piece of paper at his brother’s head gently. “You’re a blockhead sometimes, yknow that Frankie?”
Ball of paper is picked back up and thrown right back at his brother. “Yeah well we’re twins, that makes you no better.”
Nice to know the Punisher Noir tag is as dead as I left it sdlfjds

thepocketqueer:
“Mornin’ - I don’t mind.” He said softly, rocking their daughter and murmuring soothingly to her in Russian. This was wild, but in the best way possible. He and Frank had only just gone on their first date.
He got their daughter changed and in new clothes for the day, Cradling her against his chest, he turned to face his - goddamn, his husband. Time had been good to him, too. “So…I have something I gotta explain. But I’m hoping you don’t think I’ve lost my mind.” He could only hope his astrophysicist ass had accustomed Frank to this kind of talk.
Frank disappeared momentarily from the room to serve himself a cup of coffee, coming back and sipping on it. “Love, I think we’re both well past crazy.” He replied, setting down his mug to walk over to Shane and place a kiss on his husband’s cheek.
“What is it, Shane?”

Frank had had hopes of sleeping in later, but soon enough he could clearly hear the cries of their daughter from the other room. Before he could contemplate moving, Shane seemed to beat him to it. He felt the shift of the bed, heard his husband’s light steps moving through the house and their daughter calm down.
He laid still in bed for a few minutes more, hoping to drift back to sleep but nothing came. Finally he gave up on sleeping and got up, walking on bare feet to the kitchen to start a pot of coffee and allow it to brew as he went to check up on Shane and their daughter. “Mornin’.” He hummed, leaning against the door way and watching them both. “Got the coffee brewing, hope you don’t mind.”
castlcnoir:
“Hardly did a thing.” He replied, carefully looking her over. “You eaten anything since you woke up? Lunch-“ he pulled up his sleeve and looked down at his jacket. “We still got half an hour to get there, if you’re interested?”
He nodded, hand still cradling his own ribs. “I am hungry, yes. I would like that.”
“You might have to put that away then. A rifle in the mess hall is not exactly the best way to say you’re alive.” He said, motioning to her. “You’ll probably be assigned to the barracks with the other women. But you could probably leave it here or in mine if you want.”
