writers: basically code a character as lgbt
fans: think the character is lgbt
writers:
“I do this because I love you”.

Through clothes I’ve found confidence.
like or reblog if you save.
She deserves stability. She deserves more than just this momentary euphoria of being with Jules. Rue is happy now but the guy from the NA group said it best: what happens when she’s moved on?
The WORST part is, it seems as if Jules isn’t even on the same page. She hesitated a lot in the episode, one of the moments being when Rue asked if she could tag along with her going home and it took her a good five seconds before saying “sure”. That broke my mfkin heart. Not to mention all the pressure that’s suddenly on her! Her best friend (at least a week prior) was finally staying clean from drugs and now Jules is aware that it’s really only because of her. Which is wonderful but it also gives her this immense power to destroy everything in one wrong move. Like bitch I’d be shook and rather uncomfortable too. The possibility of hurting someone you care so much about is so fucking scary.
And Rue, well in the opening scene she compared Jules to drugs and how Jules is a “close second” to fentanol. Shes never had someone in her life thats made her feel that happy and homegirl is HEAD OVER HEELS for Jules which is never a good thing. It just breaks my heart how happy she is at the moment because it entails a greater fall :(
Final note: don’t shit on the show or the writer when things don’t work out between them because this has been a long time coming. The whole episode was literally set up to show us how impulsive and unhealthy this relationship would be. These KIDS GOT THEIR SHIP NAME “RULES” TATTOOED ON THEIR LIPS OH MY GOD.
But I love them regardless and hope y’all continue to support our naive babies despite whoever ends up with who 🤷♀️
Mike: -because I love her and I cAN’T lose her again!!! Will’s face:
You know that part in Mean Girls when Cady says “It’s not my fault you’re in love with me” to Janis? That has the same energy as Mike saying “It’s not my fault you don’t like girls” to Will
What kind of advanced stage brain rot do you people have to see this clearly gay coded character, watch him be bullied for being gay, watch the "it's not my fault you don't like girls" scene, see the pure fear on wills face at that implication, and think "ah yes. Aroace rep"
