I just want to make it clear right now that I in no way as it stands support Qwelver or any of her past actions. And I, personally, will not be financially supporting the game or Blushcrunch as a whole until further notice.

That being said: I will not be changing my layout or deleting my dw related posts or snuff out my passion or anything like that. I'm not leaving the Dandy's World fandom. That is not the important issue in this situation. The characters/story themselves are not "problematic" (for lack of a better term). Just because you like a media made by a shitty person doesn't mean you support said shitty person or their actions, and I don't like seeing people thinking otherwise. Of course there is nuance and exceptions to that, so please don't twist my words.

My posts in terms of art may slow down for a while (or not, we'll see). It's not because I don't care about Glisten anymore, I've already been unmotivated in terms of creating and this is just bumming me out even more. It's a majority just personal stuff.

Honestly, please focus more on the situation and supporting the victims of Rox + the victims of Qwel's negligence and lies than worrying about if you're "allowed" to like the fictional characters. You can like the characters and acknowledge the incredibly shitty things Qwel has done/caused simultaneously. And of course, it is perfectly fine if you personally don't want to interact with the fandom due to this as well. That is well within your right and no one with any sense will blame you for it.

Always remember to support victims.

Time for a post that doesn't comply with the gimmick...

So, companies are tracking you no matter what you do, but this specifically is something I care about deeply.

Essentially, when you share a link, sometimes it has extra data that tracks where it comes from and goes.

Opening Spotify, clicking the first item, and using the share button, I get something like open.spotify.com/track/4P0f1HTaA2UwtLJGryNgJZ?si=DBvbfihOSweU1KHj9Mib8w

That ?si=...........…. is the tracker. It tells Spotify who clicks on the link and ties it to you, meaning Spotify knows who your friends are even if you never follow them.

Similarly, if on Amazon or EBay in the browser, I get something like www.ebay.com/itm/146493392451?_skw=lenovo&itmmeta=............&hash=item................&itmprp=enc..............

And, similarly, everything after the question mark is tracking you. I had to blank it out because it was so long!

There is an exception for a few things (I.E. the v=..... on YouTube, but not the si=..... on YouTube)

The general rule is delete everything after the ? and if it breaks, add something back.

You should do this.
