We don't talk about classic literature humor enough especially when it comes to "serious stories". Sometimes we treat pre-21st century literature as superior and more serious and that the authors meant business when writing them but we forget that they were written by humans, by artists and humans are silly. Robert Louis Stevenson sat down to write a story about good and evil in the human psyche, inspired by the dichotomy of the brain that was prevalent in Victorian England, how animalistic the upper class was contrary to the actual animal in the story, giggling to himself as he wrote down "If he be Mr. Hyde, I shall be Mr. Seek" and I think that's beautiful

I’m gonna assume we’re talking rubberhose type toons which i think is actually kinda perfect for lighthearted g/t. Tiny falls off a table? They’ll just bounce off the ground unharmed. Get something heavy dropped on you? You’ll be a pancake for like 5 seconds and then go back to normal. You can be so much more violent without having to think about real world physics or reprocussions!!
Also imaging a cartoon character suddenly jumping out of the cel they’re drawn on and running around while the animators start freaking out is very funny. Maybe they somehow get a hold of a large amount of ink and as they absorb it they start growing? So many possibilities,,,,,,,
Do Amy and Max prefer sweet or savory foods?
I imagine Max would like sweets a lot since it’s not something he got to have a lot as a kid, so he goes a little bonkers now that he can just. Buy them with Adult money.
Amy cannnnnn eat small amounts of normal food, but it’s not something she gets any nutritional value out of due to being a vampire, and too much would just make her feel ill. Her diet is mainly blood (occasionally raw meat) so… savoury!!
What causes Max’s powers to activate? And does Amy have any powers as a vampire?
Mostly feelings! Both the spooky eldritch ones and the size shifting. Max does NOT have a lot of control over them and they’re very unstable by nature. Coupled with outside circumstances and him not having a good grasp on how to control his emotions it leads to a lot of. Situations
Amy does have some vampiric powers! She has the standard vampire stuff like heightened strength, senses, speed etc compared to a human. Her powers are boosted if she’s drank blood newly as well. She can also turn into a bat but will only do so if she has to………ok maybe once or twice for fun since Max finds it very fascinating but ONLY for him
