The One With All The Romance - Progress Update

Hey guys! I'm nearing the final stages of the development of this mod! I now have the Romantic, Relationship Milestones and Get to Know interactions done! I'm just looking it over and fixing some bugs, but we are looking good for the release date on March 18th! I can't wait to release this!!!! Thank you all for all the support <3

Features:

General Romantic interactions for couples like showing appreciation, telling them they still give your Sim butterflies, and more!

Get To Know: Have conversation starters to keep your interactions more interesting. (e.g. “What do you like to do for fun?”, “What would your dream date night be?”, “Tell me about yourself”, etc)

Choose which pick up line or compliment you want to use when flirting with another Sim.

You can talk about Relationship Milestones such as moving in together, saying I love you for the first time, having children, meeting the parents, etc.

Discuss Relationship: Have healthy discussions about things that are missing in a relationship. These interactions will strengthen the relationship instead of weakening it. (e.g. “Ask for more communication”, “I need more space”, etc)

Tired of asking nicely? Argue about it! Have a variety of Arguments that will have a negative impact on the relationship. (e.g. “We never have fun anymore”, “Why are you so jealous?”, “Who are you texting?”, “Why am I never a priority for you?”, etc)

Arguing too much? Maybe it’s time for a break up. Different reasons for Break Ups will result in different responses.

Just another sneak peek of something else I’m working on….

This is even earlier in development, but just wanted to give a sneak peak because I can’t wait to finish this mod since I low key want to play it too lol

I don’t have a release date planned for this one yet since there is a lot to be worked on, but hopefully I can release a beta version of this soon.

Phone UI

I know we joke about the whole “[streamer] can’t love you” copypasta, but watching Techno’s father read his letter and talk about what went on in his final days, I can’t find words to express just how much that isn’t true.

Everything Techno did, everything he said, was oozing with nothing but love for his community. Techno was never afraid to tell his community just how much he cared, he never hesitated to say what we meant to him or how proud he was of us.

So I don’t think it’s wrong to say Techno loved us, and I don’t think it’s wrong to admit that we loved him. Maybe not personally, maybe not intimately, but love isn’t defined by intimacy. Love doesn’t have much of a definition at all, really.

So don’t be too worried about being “weird” or cringy or parasocial about this, okay? The passing of a loved one is incredibly difficult to handle, and Techno loved us every way he was capable. There’s no need to be ashamed of how you grieve someone you loved.

I do not believe that any organism has the right to use a person’s body to sustain itself without that human’s consent. a person has the right to full and complete bodily autonomy, and that includes the right to determine how, or whether, their body is used to support any other being

I am in favor of fully legal abortion, on request, with no questions asked beyond those which may be necessary to be certain of the patient’s uncoerced consent. and I think it should be covered by health insurance

I do not consider an unborn fetus and a living baby the same thing. but even if someone did come up to another person, holding an actual infant, and say, “my baby will die if they don’t get an organ transplant from you specifically,” the law should not force that person to say yes. in my view, you are not morally obligated to give of your body to save another organism, even if that organism will die without you doing so

Do not organize a protest or discuss reproduction health issues via text, Facebook/messenger, Whatsapp, Twitter/DM, Discord or Reddit. That information is not private and you could be accused of committing a crime.

You can use Signal App for texting and have instant disappearing messages. Information is not saved or tracked. They have recommitted to this.

Take your face ID and fingerprint ID off your devices. If you are arrested, or incapacitated, law enforcement can use the biometric tools to unlock your device. Use a numerical or pattern code instead.

Turn off as much data tracking as you can on your devices. Look up the directions for your specific device.

Stop using Google Chrome, especially if you are trying to find information about reproductive health. Download and use Firefox instead.

Get a VPN. Have it use a server in a country that won't share your information. Romania is one of those.

Know your rights. Do not say a word to law enforcement. Do not give your name. Do not say anything but "I invoke my right to counsel."

All protesters should cover themselves so no identifying marks are seen. Cover tattoos. Wear a wig under a hat. Wear protective glasses. Bring water and try to wear cotton clothing.

Do not use whatever trending code word is being used. For example camping has been used so much everyone knows what that means. You'll get caught.

Our infrastructure is tenuous. It's probably a good idea to stock up on water and non perishable foods if you can.
