under no circumstances is it acceptable to use n/azi imagery or illusions of such imagery as aesthetics for your roleplay blog. it doesnโt matter if it is from a vfx project only made to look exactly like the real thing. i thought this is something people in the rpc, especially people who laud themselves on being so thoughtful and research driven, understood โ imagine my utter disbelief when i stumbled uponย <ย thisย > while scrolling though a fucking zat/nna zat/ra blog. imagine my further disbelief realizing the OP is hellsf/ire aka srik/ingo, who i know a lot of my mutuals are also mutuals with. i donโt know how this is something anyone thinks is okay to post and/or reblog onto other peopleโs dashboards??? there arenโt even any trigger warnings??? this is extremely triggering. iโm seriously confused because in my eyes, and iโm sure the eyes of most people who look at it, this is very obviously not okay.

I want to add the gifs of the promo post in question that the mun had deleted to hold them accountable, as this should certainly not be a case where one can get an extremely disturbing and problematic source instantly deleted, like it is something to shrug off and forget about it, once the problems rise from it. I am putting out a MASSIVE WARNING for those who chooses to see the gifs used for the promo that the content contains not only a realistically illustrated footage resembling to N*zism, but also death with a half humanoid skeleton being held midair in the third gif. i donโt really add to stuff like this, but as someone whoโs been friends with the op for two years, i feel like i should add stuff in here.
currently, theyโre going by sev (and have been for the two years iโve known them, at least on discord) and while we havenโt been close friends, weโve been casual, and this stuff is severely grossing me out as someone whoโs jewish. iโll try to refrain from adding personal opinions, though i have them, and just stick to saying.
not only is this disgusting, but this carelessness (especially coming from someone obsessed with research to the point of changing a characterโs name because it โneeds to be the german spellingโ) is not only disgusting, but completely irresponsible, especially from someone in the snk community, as itโs really a piece of media that you have to consume critically due to the creatorโs viewpoints and uncomfortable parallels to real life events.
i just wanted to add that these events have made some things come to light that are now,, uncomfortable in retrospect, mostly joking, but sev has a fascination with genocide in relation to eren thatโs uncomfortable at best if this isnโt merely a case of ignorance.
sevโs header on discord currently (which i feel okay sharing as sevโs discord is currently linked anyways) is currently the third gif from the gif set, which though the most innocent of them, is still tone deaf.
as well as sev directly ignoring critiques of snk itself only days ago (the first person being me)
and the most disturbing to me personally, the fact that as of now, sev still has up an inspo post about reiner using a holocaust movie review as an aesthetic. again, this is still up, even after the shit show of an apology they tried.
there can be no ignorance claimed when the summary of a movie is posted right there.
