I haven’t posted here in a while, but have a sleepy boy.

My part for the holiday collab in the @fatal-error-blog server! It’s my sansy boy, Cas! I was so excited for this collab, I ended up finishing this within a couple hours of getting started-

In truth, Cas and Tastro have no way of knowing if their current state of being is final. There’s the chance that one day, they could suddenly lose their consciousness and become just another pair of mindless monsters. Slaves to their instincts, unable to control themselves. No longer truly people. This thought terrifies Cas, and he hides the possibility of it from Tastro as much as he can. As to how Cas knows about the possibility? That’s a secret he’ll take to his grave. Or mindless regression. Whichever comes first.

Small details about The Keeper!

Assorted doodles! The first one is actually super old and probably the first thing I ever drew of The Keeper, and the others are very recent.

An exceptionally recent drawing, and one I’m still insanely proud of. The first full-on design of Toriel in this au, also known as The Keeper of the Ruins!

And here we are, Cas’ current design! A much more recent drawing.

There’s a significant jump in time and style between this drawing and the last one. That’s due to me going through a completely unrelated phase. This one is much more accurate to his current design, which is actually coming up pretty soon.

Ahhhhhhhh, I had the random thought that. If Tastro somehow, someday, made it to the surface and was accepted by humans. He would absolutely want to open and run a bakery. He’d have to get his social skills more in order, for sure, but that would be his dream come true. And you could bet that Cas would help him do it, every step of the way. No matter how many part-time jobs it would take, he’d do anything to help his bro achieve his dream.

Cas? With legs and boots? I think this was a ‘what if’ thing, about him having legs as opposed to his floaty business that he actually does.

Around this time, I was messing around with my MANY ocs and the world I put them in. Tastro and Cas ran a bakery in it. This was Cas being exceptionally bored on a slow day in the shop.

The first full body of Tastro, after I re-designed him to no longer be an actual child. He’s gone through fewer design changes than Cas over the years, but mark my words, he’s got another one coming soon.
