Don’t sell yourself short, kid. You’re B-list for sure. But you’ll be D-list when we’re done with you.
elemxntalhuman:
“I can’t do this anymore! I can’t be their pawn! Th-they wan’t me to kill someone; I can’t do that…”
“who... is... ‘THEY’??” asked felicia, pitching her voice a little softer than her usual. she didn’t do overly well around ANGSTY teenagers despite having been one herself but she did a good enough job with cindy, so... why not try and help this guy, in need of some serious comfort clearly, out. “i want to try and help you, okay?? but i’m in dire need of some more details. whoever they are... you can find a way to rid yourself of them. everyone finds A WAY. i’ve ventured into the darkness before, i’ve been there and i fought my way through, kid –– if i can, you can too.”
ivypoisoncd:
“ you seem like the kind of girl who can do ANYTHING she can put her mind to. on that note: if you’re looking for some quick money – i’d suggest just going for the big guns. mr. wayne’s mansion is always filled with goodies. ”
“you wouldn’t be wrong there... on either point –– but where’s the FUN in skipping straight on in without playing around with the meat a little beforehand?? that’s the most enjoyable part, at least from what i’ve experienced thus far and having just arrived here in gotham... i wouldn’t like to be putting myself in those sorta circumstances too soon. prison doesn’t look too good on me and i’ve got plenty of time after all...”
komcndr:
“ i’ll tell you what – i’d say far more ground would be covered with two newbies looking ‘round town. because i can’t say i know where it is. but i’m always up for ONE NIGHT STAND team ups. ”
“you’re clearly pretty new to the ENGLISH LANGUAGE as well... but i’ll help you out in that area, as you are clearly willing to help me out in my mine. a one night stand girl on girl team up doesn’t sound too bad to me, i’ll be frank ––– ”
jcssicxdrcws:
“ i’m quite certain it’s general knowledge for those who reside in GOTHAM. it shouldn’t be too hard. but who knows ? part of it might even be destroyed by the spaceships. ”
“which we do... NOW. circumstances have brought us both here and i fully intend to make the best of it, now how about you?? –– as for spaceships, they’re an inconvenience, not only to the people driving them, i’m sure but to this city... it’s not so appealing to have spaceships crash landing and hovering about all over the shop. they might be all the rage but like i said, i’m after something else.”
thebvt:
“They look fun and expensive. What more is there to get?” He asks, his tone only dripping lightly with sarcasm. Granted, he was probably the last person who should be able to get their hands on one, it doesn’t stop him from being able to dream. "Do you know a Ms. Kyle? If not, you should look into it.” He shrugs, before carrying on. “I’m sure you have your uses, Felicia. We’ve not met, yet? Were you displaced with all of the recent events?”
“what is with boys and expensive toys??” uttered felicia in humoured reply, perhaps perceived to be a joke to others but feeling all the more true to her. after all, she’d messed around with the sinister six and the silver spoons belonging to various members one too many times before to understand that what she spoke was the honest truth, a darker truth. “unfortunately –– no... but of course, i’ll endeavor to look into her at your recommendation, mr wayne, might i catch a first name for your miss kyle??” offered the blonde, the name didn’t ring a bell, most likely from his world rather than her own but she had an inkling she’d enjoy looking into this ‘miss kyle’ ––– “you’re not wrong there, i will admit... i have talents in certain areas but as does everyone else, perhaps just a little less lucrative than my own. and to answer your question, yes –– i’m a new york native. the collision of my world with yours presumably has shaken things up for us to say the very least but i’m COPING... as are you, i hope??”
reporterxlane:
“It’s rather close actually, just picture Gotham but with more of a polish shine to it.” She appreciated Gotham for what it was. It was a piece of history, though it did have it’s fair share of issues. “Where are you from if you don’t mind me asking?” She asked also curious as to what would have drawn this girl to Gotham. Could she be a hero, a villain or just another thief.
“is that so?? –– ” thought felicia aloud, her intrigue taking holdof her as she stepped backwards gracefully, taking a brief moment to observe the woman under a judging gaze. MORE POLISH?? well, she was attractive, the cat’d give her that but she was lacking the... metropolis ‘polish’ she apparently spoke of and so far... felicia was thoroughly enjoying gotham. “i’m a new york city gal, born and raised –– though my parents weren’t around too much, i’ll give them that... so significantly less of the raised part but i have a tendency to forgive and forget. so, no need to worry.” oh, how she loved to lie.
tigcress:
❛ it’s not as exciting as one would expect. but if you like being bored, it’s about two blocks south from city hall. ❜
“excitement isn’t what i’m here for.” she lied. “i’m simply here to look at the art pieces. i’m a collector after all, with particular interests and i’d love to PURCHASE a piece or two for my personal collection. excitement has nothing to do with it.”
outlawrxbin:
“just go straight for four blocks, then turn right and continue from there till you see this small deli — it’s friday so they’ll have a frittata friday sign outside – and have to cross the street from there, then turn right again and go straight for two blocks then turn left and voila, gotham museum of antiquities.”
“that’s an awful lot of directions in a stupidly short amount of time for me remember there and with the STRESS of having just moved here... –– you might be best just showing me the way ––– frittata friday sounds fun though.”
jssicajvnes:
It was a fair point – but it came off more as a challenge. Jessica folded her arms across her chest and sized up the other girl. Shorter than her, but it suited her. She was anything but weak, Jessica could tell from one glance that this was a girl who could take care of herself.
“Art isn’t intriguing. It’s just expensive,” she explained. But this girl’s interest in art was interesting–she looked more likely to stumble into a club than into a museum. Maybe she was just a bad judge of character, or maybe there was more going on here.
“See those?” She pointed above them to a little purple flag with a white paintbrush splashed onto it. “Part of the city’s attempt to revitalize itself. It was in the paper. Advertising local wonders with cheap flags. Purple stands for museums, galleries, artisan shops,” she said, glancing down the street. “I’m guessing if we follow them, we’ll eventually find the museum you’re looking for. Or at least an art freak who might know the way.”
the woman before her was STREET SMART, that much was obvious. she had a fiery nature to her, a near snarky one, one which felicia could easily abide with given the circumstances. she’d worked with her fair share of people over her short career, new yorkers from every inch of the city and this woman definitely had the qualities of a potential business partner; despite not know where her loyalties may lie.
“that’s the point, isn’t it??” posed the blonde with a swift quirk of her brow. posing as an art collector was always felicia’s immediate strategic move. people knew whom she was, even despite the black cat alias. she shared the same name as her father for GOD’S SAKE. “material goods, wealth, all of that, sums up a lotta people i know –– but art has deeper meanings sometimes... and having acclaimed pieces of work up in your house, apartment, etc – can surprisingly get a girl a lot of places, pretty god damn fast and i live for speed.”
it was the convenience that she truly lived for. posing as a socialite, elevating herself, making friends with the worst kinds of people, people at the top who deserved to be at the very bottom of the heap but she enjoyed it. and she did it convincingly, so what was there to complain of?? “ah, so i’m GUESSING you’re not from around here, huh?? you a new york native?? heard that’s how our worlds collided, the great gotham and ny, a city combined.” the cat let out a gentle laugh at that. the sheer ridiculousness of it all amused felicia to say the least. how chaos could be created so quickly, it was enthralling. “but fine. i’ll run with your knowledge –– you clearly know far more than i do at this point... and i need that type of insight right now. so, welcome aboard... –– name’s felicia.”
I have things I need to say. If I don’t say them now, I’ll never say them.

“Sorry,” Jessica said slowly, turning around to face the girl. “I’m new in town. I don’t even know what you’re talking about. Get a tourist map, I’m sure it’s got a great big star marking the spot,” she said, flashing an obviously fake smile. “What do you wanna go to a museum for anyway?” she asked, eyeing the girl up and down.
“not as new as me.” replied felicia sharply, a sing-song tone to her voice as she too, displayed her favourite false smile for the situation — particularly amused by the reaction she’d gotten off of the female. “and sure, a tourist map’d probably work wonders but this is GOTHAM... not exactly what i’d describe as a tourist’s dream location — this isn’t some amazing race bullshit.” at that, felicia threw her hands up calmly, referencing to the cityscape around her as she spoke, clearly underwhelmed by it all but still as vivacious as ever. “museums happen to be sorta my thing. i’m an avid ART COLLECTOR, which always seems to surprise rather than intrigue, disappointingly.”
