i found this website called eShakti and you can basically take a simple design and fabric and customize it to your measurements INCLUDING arm circumference and sleeve style!!!!!!!!!

like for real

they have a million different pre-set measurements sizes, and you can make pretty much any dress long sleeve, short sleeve, 3/4 sleeve, cap sleeve, sleeveless, ANYTHING YOU WANT

today i left the house in a dress without sleeves and only felt uncomfortable for a little while

i kept telling myself that no one was looking at me, or the stretchmarks on my arms, or the roll on my back, and if they were, they were less likely to latch onto my insecurities if i wasn’t actively trying to cover them up with extra, out of place clothing

who wears a black cardigan on an 84 degree day if they’re not worried about their arms (me, most of the time)

i read so many articles on fat acceptance and i love them

i love them to pieces and i think they’re right on and super necessary

but most of them have one thing in common and that’s that they’re assuming the people who are making overweight women feel this way are mostly men

and i think that that’s a big blind spot

because the people i fear the judgement of the most is other women

and that makes me so sad all the time

it’s always other women my age that i wonder what they’re thinking about me, my weight, my face

and for some reason this worry that we are not all in this unifying fight for body positivity really hurts me, and scares me, and affects me more than any unappreciative male gaze

i just want to feel sure that my fellow ladies aren’t thinking to themselves “mckenzie looks really fucking fat today” or “i’m glad i don’t look like her”

i dunno. struggles.

blaise has to go back to school to the 24 hour library so he can finish his comic at midnight and probably will have to just go to work from there in the morning

i don’t want him to have to do that

i don’t want to sleep all alone

i am worried about him and sad and alone and i wish i could make him feel better somehow but i can’t and i feel useless
