GingerRose Modern AU: Hux decides to go out on a walk around the block to clear his mind from his busy and stressful day of work. In the middle of his stroll, snow starts to fall and this distracts him as it hardly ever snows. He knocks into someone and frantically tries to help them up off the ground. To his dismay, he sees an attractive dark haired woman in a bright yellow puffer jacket. The two lock eyes before introducing themselves to one another. He finds out that her name is Rose... ‘such a lovely name..’ he thought to himself.

After reading the ACOTAR series I had to draw a Reylo Fae AU so welcome the Fae High Lord of the Dark Court, Kylo Ren and Fae Princess of the Light Court, Rey.

gingerrose college au (2/2): It’s now finals week, Rose and Hux have finished their presentation on their paired assignment. After their presentation, Rose and Hux praise each other for their hard work and partnership. When the class is over, she gathers her textbooks to get ready to head off into the library for one last study session, apologising to him for her haste in the process and then she’s gone before he can say anything. Hux has completed all of his exams and assignments however, Rose still has one final exam later in the afternoon. Throughout the other presentations that they sat through, all Hux could think about was his need to ask her to spend time with him during the break, not as assignment partners but something more.. He works up the courage to race after her before she reaches the library to talk to her. He’s able to catch up fairly quickly given the amount of time he spent contemplating whether or not he should go through with his plan. Hux asks Rose if she’d like to go out with him some time on a date during the break. Rose happily agrees and gives him a kiss on the cheek before they part ways.

gingerrose college au (1/2): It’s been months now, Rose and Hux have been working on their assignment together and things have been going smoothly. They’re almost done with it, only two more weeks until the presentation and they have been bonding throughout their meetings and tinkering sessions. Rose has another workshop to head off to after their most recent meeting to discuss the schematics of their final product. Rose turns back to give him a beaming smile and wave before she heads off into the building. Hux can’t help but think about how much he enjoys spending time with her... he’s completely smitten but doesn’t know how to deal with these feelings and if she feels the same way he does.

modern gingerrose au:

Rose Tico just got transferred over to the First Order company as an administrative assistant. Her work includes keeping track of the company’s accounting as well as helping with the customer service tasks when needed which is similar to her previous position. However, she does have a rather important role above those as she is now required to directly assist a senior software engineer with his superior duties. From what she has heard from other employees, he can be quite demanding and won’t accept anything other than perfection. Rose has no idea what’s in store for her as she steps into his office, let alone expect to see a rather handsome, good-looking redhead...

Armitage Hux has spent years working at the First Order company. His notable skills and knowledge as well as his hard-working nature has helped him in achieving his high position of senior software engineer. With the pressures of his demanding job, he doesn’t get much sleep so the company has allowed him to have access to an administrative assistant to help him with daily tasks and errands. There have been many individuals with the position over the past 2 years who couldn’t meet his expectations and now there’s a new employee who will be undertaking the job who will hopefully be successful. He doesn’t hear her step foot into his office but once he sees her, he just can’t take his eyes off her and the image of her dark, flowy hair and shining dark brown eyes accompanied with that beautiful smile is ingrained in his mind...
