just had a multi-hour nosebleed for the first time in years and apparently became addled enough by it that my first thought after was “ah well, guess it’s good luck” i lost just enough blood to invent a new superstition
Happened to me with chipmunks (thought they were fanciful woodland creatures in Snow White etc, not irl) at age 17 on my first day of college
typing 'barre-' into duck duck go and the two suggestions are "barre3" and "Barrett's esophagus." yes girl. both.
me: I want peace and safety in the levant for everyone
leftist goyim: how dare you not be okay with the mass murder of your extended family
mainstream jewish orgs: how dare you not be okay with the mass murder of our distant cousins
me: what the fuck is happening
anyone else a little peeved that toasters rely so much on jumpscares but are otherwise not very scary
Blumhouse presents Hamilton beach lookin ass
i actually do think individual human lives are unfathomably valuable
I think it'd be cool to make dandelions a symbol for solarpunk
Connotations of perseverance
Look kinda like the sun
I think they're cool idk
I didn’t fully like GET get solarpunk until I learned about ecological succession and watched the dandelions repair the dirt patch in front of my house.
Delighted by this ambient track mistakenly accompanied by the lyrics to telephone by lady gaga
sometimes part of the fun of gory movies is being a little grossed out. you're not winning movie watching bc you claim that nothing phases you, dude. even if that is true we're all here to have a good time no need to sound smug about nothing
you don't like going "ew haha?" no "blech lol?" booo. where's your inhernet curiosity despite the disgust
Been watching horror movies several times a week for years, favorite genre. Still cringe/turn away/watch through fingers when I’m anticipating a jump scare or moment of pain/extra gore. Being too jaded to care does not appeal to me. Being Very Scared for a moment is the whole point.

Why did this awaken a kink within me
One of my housemates has set our dryer’s default timer to 69 minutes.
1. Didn’t know you could change the defaults.
2. None of us are engineers, handypeople, or even competent house occupiers.
3. Did it happen by accident.
4. The dryer buttons are touch-sensitive, not physical buttons. Dryer is frequently walked by and brushed by ass/leg/hip/dog.
5. Did my butt do this somehow.
6. Going with that. Yes.
Didnt truly grasp the concept of headcannon until I realized it’s always been “someday. someday. someday. OBLIVION” to me, and also “Lucrecia, my religion.”
Do not care that I am wrong, have been corrected many times, not interested in sharing that reality, fine with my own thank you. Now I get it.
My friend grew up singing CABBAGES, CABBAGES, BARELY EVEN HUMAN during act I of Pocahontas.

Glad me and my ilk (the Petulant) have been wearing black even though it washes us out since at least the 1890s
The absolute baited breath with which I wait at the end of a phone call after saying “take care”
