i genuinely encourage non black people to engage with this, who might be worried they can't because of the word "nigga" because they feel like it's overstepping. the only way it would be overstepping is saying it to me when ur not black, but please don't be afraid to engage with black art.

i kinda get annoyed when non black people police other non blacks on how to engage with black culture because it creates a problem where non black people avoid us all together which can be extremely isolating and create even MORE tension and overall being uneducated.

Yeah. Have been running this blog for over 10 years and especially in the trollwave days one of the recurring themes was that they wanted fat people to be put in concentration camps until they lost weight, permanently removed from society, or even killed and "ground up for horse meat" was the most colorful of the comments. We were blamed for world hunger and put on par with international terrorists. So, yes, as I inhabit my world I do occasionally wonder if they are one of the people who deep down believe these things.

The oft-repeated phrase “transmen are men” meant that many cisgender women were calling it transphobic to decide the KAM was exclusive to cisgender men. As this rhetoric evolved, many started swinging to the opposite side of the pendulum, saying things like “Kill all men, including transmen. :D” While intended to be inclusive, the extra note of transmen not only removes us from the phrase directly, but it also ignores how transmen’s experience some of the same violence from the same men that are referenced in KAM. Transmen are still sexually assaulted and murdered simply because they are trans, and also if they are seen as women by other men. The frequent inclusion of positive emojis after the mention of transmen also serves as a form of infantilization and not taking transmen as seriously as cis men.
