Did I see the Haikyuu movie last night? Yes I did.

If I had told my 16 year old self that 8 years after they started watching this silly volleyball anime that I would be in theaters, at 11 pm, crying because "oh my god they've come so far" I think she wouldn't believe it. This story, as I've come to grow with it, while both watching and reading, has become so much more than a story about people playing volleyball. As someone who used to play and no longer does, i appreciate that it was realistic with the knowledge that not everyone will continue, but just because people leave or they stop playing, that doesn't mean those memories, those moments, weren't important.

I guess just all of that is me rambling about the love that I have felt for this for the last 8 years, and it feels so fucking weird saying that.

I'm still here and I don't plan on leaving any time soon ❤️
