This guy really just didn’t seem to care about much. Yet at the same time... Hiyori felt like it was far from the truth. She really didn’t want to bother him too much but she already had started...

“...You act like you don’t care about such things... But I honestly feel like that’s a lie. I don’t know why but I just get the feeling-- Anyways. Why don’t you tell me your name... I rather call you by that instead of ‘that guy who can’t smile’“

He couldn’t believe Hiyori was willing to spend time with him. Was this a date? Was she going to confess her feelings to him? The young boy couldn’t help his wishful thinking that maybe the other would actually return his affection. That was a stretch, sure, but love made people think and do strange, stupid things sometimes.

“A-Ah… Hiyori, I- Thank you for letting me come with you today…”

Why was Hibiya seeming so nervous? It seemed almost silly. His overreactions, his need to be close-- Hiyori simply wanted to hang out (and maybe, just maybe, hold hands?) and talk.

“Hibiya, you need to stay calm. They might not let you into the stores if you seem like you’re going to pass out at any moment.”
