watched biutiful (2010) tonight. heartbreaking.

started at 12 am something, ended at exactly 2:30 am.

uncontrollably (yet quietly) sobbing after the movie.

loved it.

lmaooo. just finished mad dogs (us) at 10 in the morning. i think i only like this ending bc i love mad dogs (uk) so much. (SPOILER)

like... wdym joel (played by ben chaplin) stays behind while everyone goes home to become the new milo (US version of alvo - played by ben chaplin in the UK one). literally reads like a lead in to mad dogs (uk). bro about to invite his four british friends to visit 😭

shaking my head watching mad dogs (us) and saying "not my boys, not my boys".

like, really, yeah rick can be quite flirty with women and an asshole, but he does NOT (following are the actions of cobi aka US rick):

stare at a woman's legs and make her uncomfortable;

"apologize" after she says she feels threatened by his staring (incl the added fact she's the only woman in a car with four strange men), only to say she shouldn't wear dresses like that if she didn't want it;

laugh at a woman talking about how women often have to fake and disguise their true feelings around men just to make men comfortable;

and whatever "I understand that you took a lot of women's study classes at Stanford and that even though you've had every possible opportunity, you still need to identify yourself as a victim." was.

wow, it took literally five episodes, 31 minutes in, for me to genuinely start disliking one of the main characters... now i'm really hoping that the UK finale is also done in this version because GOD this guy deserves it.
