I use mainly photoshop cc for everything from sketching to colour! Once in a while I break out SAI as well, but lately I haven’t been feeling it really for some reason also im lazy

I think most techniques can be replicated in both programs, but both also give things their own… sort of look? For example, the flowers in the Toriel picture and the one above it are the same shape but one was painted in PS and the other in SAI.

There are MANY more brushes available for photoshop (like the textured brush I use for most of my lineart), but SAI is (personally) way easier to blend colours/paint in and the lines are a tiny bit crisper, so I don’t know if I could really say I prefer one over the other; it just depends what i’m going to do :0 sorry for blabbing so much on a simple question sdkfh

What do you do for your coloring, if you don't mind me asking?

im not sure which colouring you mean because i change it up a lot <_>;;;

I’ve been using a lot of airbrush/cel combo shading lately though (eg for the peridot/amythest selfie picture)! And I always use colour holds because those really make a huge difference. For anything painterly I pretty much just paint over and over until it looks good ahh… I can do a little step by step thing if you have a specific picture you wanted to know about im sorry agh
