request: 1950s funeral attire

commentary from the curator: although I really went digging around for this one, I couldn't find anything that was specifically marketed as funeral attire 😔. therefore, I had to fudge it a little a go with a collection of garments in black/darker colors, which would have been appropriate for a funeral (in a USAmerican context, which is where most of the mid-20th century magazines I have access to are based). also, if you wanted something with trousers, it would likely just be dark suits, but I can definitely dig some of those up if you want to see them! so sorry I couldn't precisely fulfill your request, but hopefully this is at least a little close! ☺️
